Welcome to my SolidWorks What’s New Guide Download page! For some time now I have been wanting to gather ALL What’s New Guides that SolidWorks has ever published and make them available for download in ONE spot! I learned some interesting things during this little project. As far as I can tell, the first published electronic What’s New Guide came about with SolidWorks 98plus. Not wanting to leave out the earlier versions of SolidWorks, I have pulled together User Guides for versions that did not have a What’s New Guide. As I was gathering the files, I came across a few versions that provided electronic copies of User Guides AND What’s New Guides. In those cases, I have provided links to both! SolidWorks 99 was the last version that came with an official User’s Guide in electronic form. After that, the User’s Guide was considered to be included with the Help. There were some “User Guides” which surfaced later on, but I have been unsuccessful in locating them thus far. If I come across any additional documentation, I will post it here.
I’d like to thank Bill Taylor of SolidWorks Corp. and Rich Hall for helping me locate all the files. Some of the files below were provided by SolidWorks and some of older files were taken directly from the install disks. Lucky for me, Rich Hall has a disk for EVERY VERSION of SolidWorks and was gracious enough to loan me his set! I really had to dig to come up with some of the earlier stuff. Enjoy!
