An ALL NEW LOOK!

April 13, 2007 16 Comments »

After 10 months of using a basic TypePad template, it was time for a change.  Welcome to the NEW LOOK Ricky Jordan’s Blog!  The new wider format should make things a bit easier to find.  The links section has been re-organized and some additional links have been added.  There is also a new font which should be a little easier to read.  I hope the changes result in a better overall experience for everyone.

A special thanks to Mary Lyons and Patrick Cook for all their hard work in getting the site re-designed.

I’d also like to thank all the readers who have visited and participated here.  Comments are always welcome and have really helped shaped the content.  I hope the information has been and continuous to be useful.

We have an action packed couple of months coming up with SolidWorks 2008 just around the corner along with many exciting User Group events!  I’m still in the planning stages right now, but let’s just say when SolidWorks 2008 is introduced to the public, you’ll want to check in here regularly.

As I always say….Stay tuned…more to come!

Agreed. That's a really nice improvement. You also did a nice job on the title bar picture.

  • Thanks for all the nice comments! I'm really happy with the new look. I can't take credit for the banner image. That was Mary's creation. It really turned out nice!

The stock car in the banner is a SolidWorks surface model & drawing. Here is a test for some of you NASCAR fans…what make and model is the car??

    Best Regards,

  • Excellent new look Ricky. The SolidWorks blogging community is “moving on up”. While I'll be beta testing SW 2008 along with everyone else, I look forward to your 2008 posts when the time is right. I always like to hear other peoples thoughts on a subject.

    Ricky, love the new layout.

I'm guessing it is a Dodge Charger.

  • Steve,

You are correct! It is indeed a Dodge Charger. The model actually started life as a Monte Carlo. With a little change to the nose and window lines….it became a Charger.
