John_mceleneySolidWorks CEO John McEleney will be coming to Alabama, North Carolina, & Georgia in June 2007 to speak at three SolidWorks User Group events.

On Monday June 11th, John will be making his first stop in Huntsville, Alabama at a North Alabama SolidWorks User Group (NASWUG) meeting. This is the user group that I lead and I must say that it is truly an honor to have John attend one of our meetings. Our group members are very excited and can’t wait for this meeting to come!

Tuesday June 12th John will be in Charlotte, North Carolina at Van Phifer’s Charlotte SolidWorks User Group meeting. Wednesday June 13th John will be in Atlanta, Georgia with the Atlanta Area SolidWorks Users Group which is lead by Tom Ellis.

I think it really says a lot to see the CEO of a company as large as SolidWorks getting out to local user events. John is probably the only CEO of a CAD company that is certified in his product. (John is a Certified SolidWorks Professional.) His knowledge of the product and his passion for design really shows every time you hear him speak. If you are within driving distance of any of these three events, you don’t want to miss it!
