Paper Pilot Game

Submitted by Ricky Jordan on Saturday, February 24, 2007Comments

Paperpilot1 You know, you’ve got to hand it to the SolidWorks Marketing department for coming up with some really innovative ideas. Their latest creation is an online game called Paper Pilot. This game allows you to test your skills in constructing and throwing a virtual paper airplane. There are three different plane types you can select from and three different “settings” that can be applied to tweak the plane’s performance. As if that wasn’t enough, you have control of the trajectory and amount of “arm extension” for each throw with your plane. (Here is a hint: Make sure you don’t extend your arm too far!)

The cool thing about the game is that it has a practice area where you can hone your skills. Once you feel you are ready, you can challenge your friends to a competition!  Make sure you get a good solid throw if you are in a Challenge because you only get one throw!  Feel free to throw a challenge my way if you think you’re up to it!  :-)

Stay tuned….more to come!
